There's One In All Of Us

It was one of those days when it's a minute away from snowing and there's this electricity in the air, you can almost hear it. And this bag was, like, dancing with me. Like a little kid begging me to play with it. For fifteen minutes. And that's the day I knew there was this entire life behind things, and... this incredibly benevolent force, that wanted me to know there was no reason to be afraid, ever. Video's a poor excuse, I know. But it helps me remember... and I need to remember... Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world I feel like I can't take it, like my heart's going to cave in.

RIP Alexander McQueen,

found hanging at his Mayfair home in central London thursday, was said to have left a series of notes for his loved ones explaining his actions. But it was obvious, according to the timing of things, that the reason was mainly because he was mourning his mother Joyce's death which happened 10 days previous to his own. Also McQueen and his lover ended things rather badly weeks previous to the suicide, and the designer was said to have been very depressed his last year of life. Rather then looking forward to the future he was discouraged, but that never once appeared in his art work. However, his death is not what makes him remarkable and legendary. A style icon and a revolutionary designer, Alexander McQueen will be terribly missed and will always live on through his designs and the inspiration he gave to countless others.
