Costume designer Colleen Atwood not only designed italian lace lingerie, beaded corsets, and fur trimmed silk gowns for the girls of Nine, the new musical movie phenome directed by the film Chicago's director Rob Marshall, but Ms. Atwood designed an elite group of remarkable women. Each wardrobe for each character defined their personalities both professionally and emotionally. The film could not have been completed without the razzle dazzle of sexy and carefully made costumes, not only for the glamorous look, but for the way in which the clothing defines the women and evolves with their characters.
